Two gabled pavilions of different widths sit either side of a lower linking wing, and the wing wraps far enough to enclose a courtyard on the sheltered side. The gable ends are white vertical board, the roof charcoal long-run, and the entry recess is lined in timber behind a red front door.

A covered outdoor room carried on square posts extends the living space onto the deck, and a ribbon window runs the length of the kitchen bench so the valley is in view from the sink rather than only from the lounge.
